So this winter has brought back many old fashion trends and re-invented most of them. We're going to talk about our personal favorites and the ones we find aesthetically pleasing.
THE BOYFRIEND JEAN
In the fashion industry, there's always been something "fresh" about wearing men's clothes. It could be the blazers, the white button downs or the thick brown belts.. This year, it was the jeans. Wanna know who the first lady of the 21st century to wear them out was? Katie Holmes. And the world stopped when she did, she obviously borrowed them from her beau, Tom.. And the good thing about the revival of the trend is.. You don't need a boyfriend to have boyfriend jeans! The jeans are fitted loosely giving off a cool vibe and can make for an amazing outfit when paired with the right pair of pumps. THE HAT
I think we all agree to the fact that a hat is a lifesaver. Bad hair day? Saved. Your roots are starting to show? Saved. Need a dressy touch to a casual outfit? Saved. Hats can be considered statement pieces, and deep inside we all die a little inside when we see that beautiful hat we've been looking for and the price has 4 digits - yikes! So we bring you some reasonably priced hats by our personal all time favorite designer - Laeticia Crahay, the creator of Maison Michel Paris. The best, and I repeat, the best hats are from there.
SWEATERS, SWEATERS, SWEATERS!
We are the biggest lovers of cozy, beautiful sweaters. They're like a permanent hug and an effortless style statement - I don't give a f*** but I'm still looking better than you. Buying a sweater takes serious effort, first of all, you have to know the fabric you want it to be made of: cashmere, wool, tweed, silk lined.. The choices are endless. And then make up your mind about the purpose it'll serve in your wardrobe, are you going to wear it as an everyday casual item? Then buy it in neutral tones. Are you thinking about using it as a statement piece? Buy it in vibrant colors or a snazzy pattern. Do you want the cut to be formal or regular? And how thick and heavy can it actually be? So you see, there's a lot to think about before investing in a high-end, good sweater. Here's a few of our choices.

KNEE HIGH BOOTS
Sexy, elegant, classy.. Just the touch any outfit needs to be elevated. Miranda Kerr, Olivia Palermo, Chiara Ferragni, Khloe Kardashian, Georgia May Jagger and Candice Swanepoel are all doing it, so why shouldn't you? They say only dead fish follow the stream, but in case you're following it right now, at least you're a fashionable dead fish. Here are our choices:
FUR: Fur real?
Fur really blew up again.. Fur jackets, headbands, lined purses, even boots are back and stronger than ever. We personally love the trend and already have a few pieces that we'll show you in our lookbook posts over time.. Right now we'll just share our favorites with you.
MILITARY GREEN EVERYWHERE
This trend is really the gift that keeps on giving.. It pops back up every year around winter and it sticks for a good couple of months. So start thinking of army green and brown as an option for your neutral tones. It's not a trend we particularly appreciate but we definitely mix in some of these tones on our winter closets.
